Acquisitions Manager

The role: 

You’ll be responsible for sourcing new locations and working with all relevant stakeholders to deliver new store openings, on time and profitably, overseeing site selection, negotiation, due diligence and stakeholder management.  For this role, we’d need for you to live in the SE or London 

What you’ll do here: 

• Oversee the end-to-end property acquisitions process for your region 
• Proactivity source a Popeyes UK portfolio and pipeline 
• Working as part of and in close collaboration with the wider property and project management team  
• Ensure the business needs are fulfilled and our growth plan is delivered  
• Cultivating relationships with landlords and future business partners 
• Owning projects and collaborating with internal and external teams all in the pursuit of delivering a continued market leading estate 

Who you’ll be: 

• Commercially savvy, with strong negotiation skills 
• Able to identify real estate opportunities, ideally with a great network of landlords and schemes 
• Skilled in time management, self-starting and know how to get things done 
• Highly organised 
• Ability to be flexible, open to changes and compressed timelines  
• Strong understanding of the necessary due diligence and an eye for detail 
• Naturally takes the lead 
• Incredible communication skills 

Your experience: 

• Strong experience in a similar in-house role or an ex-agency background 
• Worked in QSR or grab and go, hospitality, or retail 
• Have experience acquiring a range of property formats and locations, e.g. drive throughs, retail parks, out of town, etc. 
• A drive to get deals done 
• Experience in a busy environment, used to fast pace change and delivering against tight timelines 
• Strong self-management delivering excellent work 
• Full driving licence is preferable
