The Burford Recruitment Company is seeking a dedicated and experienced part-time housekeeper for a private household near Bloxham, Oxfordshire.

Our client is looking for someone to join them 12-15 hours per week and they can be flexible on the working schedule.

• Perform cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing. Ensure all rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas, are maintained to the highest standard
• Manage the household laundry, including washing, ironing, folding, and wardrobe organisation
• Maintain an organised and clutter-free home. Manage storage areas and ensure household items are properly stored and accessible
• Run household errands, such as dry-cleaning, post-office visits, and other tasks as required
• Identify and report any maintenance issues within the property. Liaise with service providers and contractors for repairs and maintenance as needed
• There are sheep and chickens at the farmhouse which the Housekeeper will be required to check on twice daily, any action required will be taken by the farmer

• The ideal candidate will be a calm and positive person with a happy demeanour!
• Have proven experience as a housekeeper in a private household
• Excellent cleaning and organisational skills. Ability to perform detailed and thorough cleaning tasks
• Ability to adapt to the household’s needs and schedule
• Communication skills with the ability to follow instructions and interact professionally with household members and guests
